This is probably because of the browser or extension you are using. The browser or extension you’ve installed translates the text immediately. Below you will find how to disable this setting per browser or extension.
Chrome
Different versions of Chrome can enable the translations of a page. You’ll then see Google Translate’s logo in the address bar.
Click on the logo, then a menu opens to which languages is being translated
Click on the 3 dots. Here you can select the option to disable the translation to a certain language or website. Choose 1 of the 2 options to disable the translation.
Microsoft Edge
Microsoft Edge automatically translates and this is the standard setting. A study set in StudyGo will then automatically be translated by the browser. You will often see weird translations of the study set you put in. Via this link you can see how you disable the automatic translations:
Firefox, Safari, Brave or another browser
The browsers don’t translate a page automatically, they first ask for your permission. The automatic translation happens a lot because you’ve installed the extension for this.
